It’s their world, we just live in it

Whether you have a dog, cat, horse, chicken, or hamster, our pets hold special places within our hearts. Memories can sometimes fade as the years go by, so adding to those memories through photographs brings a different perspective.

Why Choose Pet Photography?

belgian malnois

Capture your pet in their element, whether on the couch, running in a field, or swimming in a lake, tells a story. A story that your pet tells in his/her own words that you can always treasure. Every day we see our pets from our point of view, and getting down on their level signifies closer to their eyesight.

Testimonials

  • “Southern Paws photography was so easy to work with. Very inventive to my puppies and wasn’t scared to get on the ground and roll around to get the perfect shot. We loved working with them!” ~Bekkah

  • "A "farm" shoot has been on my bucket list for quite some time. When the opportunity became available to work with Mikayla, mid winter with fluffy "not show ready" horses, I decided to book anyways. The truth is, I have two senior horses who have literally traveled the country with me for 20+ years. We have a lifetime of memories together. Tomorrow is never guaranteed with these incredible animals and it is such a gift to capture moments in time to forever have. Mikayla nailed each horse and their personality- right down to the photos of my senior horse and new young horse as the reins are turned to her, for our next adventure. Beyond capturing my "boys" and new girl, Mikayla highlighted the very dear connection that my daughter and her pony have. He is her best friend and their interactions were illustrated perfectly through Mikayla's lens. Lastly, we were able to share our shoot with my mom and her horse, the third element of our "Three Generations Farm." Thank you Mikayla! For sharing your talent and skill but also for the soft reminder to cherish these memories and the gifts of time- with two AND four legged family."
